I hold a B.Sc. in Geography Education and an M.Sc. in Environmental Management from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. In practice, I work as an environmental manager, applying the same principles I research — sustainability, risk, and resilience — to real operational contexts. Part of my academic work focuses on flood risk and climate adaptation, examining how vulnerable households survive environmental disasters through their own ingenuity. Aware But Underfunded: Flood Resilience Strategies of Lokoja Households

Household flood adaptation strategies across four vulnerable residential clusters in Lokoja, Kogi State — Adankolo, Adankolo New-layout, Ganaja, and Galili. The research evaluated how communities respond to recurring seasonal flooding at the Niger-Benue confluence in the absence of formal institutional protection.
