I am an environmental manager, researcher, and platform builder working at the intersection of research and real-world impact. I hold a B.Sc. in Geography Education and an M.Sc. in Environmental Management from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. In practice, I work as an environmental manager, applying the same principles I research — sustainability, risk, and resilience — to real operational contexts. Part of my academic work focuses on flood risk and climate adaptation, examining how vulnerable households survive environmental disasters through their own ingenuity. Beyond research and management, I built GeoNigeria.com to make Nigeria's environmental experts visible to the policymakers, NGOs, and collaborators who need them most. I believe Nigerian researchers have the answers — they just need to be found.

What I Work On
My work spans three connected areas: environmental management practice, field research, and platform building. As an environmental manager, I work on sustainability and risk management in operational settings. As a researcher, I investigate how flood-prone urban households in Nigeria respond and adapt to recurring disasters without institutional support — my M.Sc. study covered 392 households across four Lokoja communities at the confluence of the Rivers Niger and Benue, finding that 63% sustain their livelihoods through self-initiated strategies. As the founder of GeoNigeria.com, I am actively closing the gap between Nigeria's environmental expertise and the institutions that need it.
